Jenn doesn't travel often for work, but when she does I try to tag along. We've been fortunate enough to go to some pretty incredible places like Seattle and Washington DC with these work trips. This year Jenn started a new job and sure enough a couple of months in and she was asked to go to a conference in Chicago a city we've never been to. We decided to take advantage of the opportunity and fly out a few days early and see what Chicago has to offer. 

The time has finally come. Jenn and I have decided on our big trip for 2017, and it's quite the adventure. As much as I wanted to make a return to Europe, we decided to continue exploring the world and spread our wings to new and interesting places in the world. So this November we will be departing LAX and going on a nearly month long adventure throughout Asia. 

For anyone hoping for a massive recap of our 25-day Europe adventure I'm sorry this post is not it, and quite frankly I'm not sure I could do any justice to what was easily the best trip we've ever taken. So instead this post is meant as a follow-up to our predictions post, where we guessed at what our favorite things from the trip would be. 

When I woke up this morning I'll admit I had a tough time coming to grips with the end of the trip. Being gone for nearly a month, I've just gotten accustomed to not having to work and take care of the stresses of day-to-day life. But like I did this morning, we will move past the tears for one more day, and enjoy our last full day in Nice. 

For only being in Nice for less then a half-day yesterday, we sure fell in love with this city fast. We woke up more eager then we've been in days ready for our first full day in Nice. It started a little after 8AM when I went out for a run on the beachside while Jenn continued to get her beauty sleep. After my run I made the ten minute walk to a nearby Starbucks to pick Jenn up a hot chocolate and me a cappuccino. 

As we approached and passed twenty days on our Ultimate Europe Trip I know both Jenn and I have started to wind down. Our bodies are more tired and our energy levels aren't nearly what they were in Amsterdam. It didn't help that we had to wake up at 6:30AM this morning to make our train. We got ready and went down for our last breakfast at the Hotel Regency. We both went light and had toast and eggs.
