It’s been almost six months since our last family trip. After Europe in the summer of last year and several trips to Northern California in the fall, we started 2026 with a 5-night trip back in Cancun to conclude our quest to see the seven wonders of the world.

It is our final day in Stockholm and on the trip. It was as if our bodies all knew the trip was ending, we decided to let ourselves rest and enjoy a quieter, more Elle-focused final day.

We were very fortunate to have had as beautiful a day as we did. From the Vaca Museum to the children’s museum, we kept busy as we started to wind down to the end of our amazing European journey.

The sun was out, and so were we on our first full day in Stockholm. We tried to experience as much of Stockholm as we could day walking nearly 10 miles all over this beautiful city.

We left Munich at noon today to fly to our last destination on this trip, Stockholm. We haven’t had much time here yet but so far its shaping up to be a new favorite spot.

We’ve sadly reached our last day in Munich. As sad as we are to have to say goodbye tomorrow, we made the most of our last day here.
