Today marks our last full day in Florence. My how the time just continues to fly by. I cannot believe that in a couple of days we will be flying home. But enough with the sad thoughts, we have a great day in Florence to talk about. The day started beautifully with us both waking up a little after 8AM to get ready for the day.

Last night we went to bed with our stomachs full, our minds relaxed, and our bodies ready for a deep deep slumber. That’s exactly what happened. It wasn’t until our alarms went off a little after 7AM this morning that we finally awoke to our first full day in Florence and our last tour of the Ultimate Europe Trip.

The moment that Jenn and I have been dreading since booking this trip has arrived. No not the end of the trip, we still have six days until that travesty. No, today is the day we have to board an airplane at 6AM to fly us from Budapest to Florence.

After last night's dinner cruise rolled into the early hours of this morning we finally fell asleep a little before 1AM. We woke up at our normal 7AM looked at each other and were out until 9:30AM. It wasn't until a little before 10AM that I finally got out of bed to get us Starbucks that our morning finally started to get rolling. 

I'm not exaggerating when I say we've really loved every stop on the Ultimate Europe Trip thus far, but if I had to pick an early favorite, I'd go with Vienna. After four amazing nights here in Vienna our time has sadly come to an end and as we close this chapter we begin another. We woke up a little before 7AM and went down to breakfast at the very popular Brasserie & Bakery.

I refuse to accept that this is the last day here in Vienna. It's a city that Jenn and I fell in love with right after we got out of the train station. We've yet to see a part of the central city of Vienna that we haven't loved. It's a city that may be a less walkable then Prague or Amsterdam but we've chosen to walk as much of it as possible as to not miss anything. This morning we let ourselves sleep in.
