TV Review: House of Cards Season 3
Somehow I missed writing up a review on Season 2 of House of Cards (even though I did write up Season 1). How did I do that? That might have been one of the best seasons of television I've ever watched. Frank Underwood was all sorts of ruthless in Season 2. It had one of the best first episodes of a season that set the tone for the remaining twelve episodes. But sadly I did miss writing that up and without re-watching that incredible season I will just keep marching on. Season 3 of House of Cards was released around a month ago and Jenn and I just got done with the thirteen episode season.
My Most Anticipated Movies of Summer 2015
These are some of my favorite posts to write. I absolutely love going to the movies, and there is something special about the summer movie season. When I look back on my exhaustive list of summer 2014 movies last year I realize that the majority of those movies weren't all that great. Here's to hoping that this year has better results. So without further ado here is my list of movies I'm looking forward to in 2015.
TV Series We'd Like to Try Out - Early 2015 Edition
Although I'd love to say this was on purpose, almost a year ago exactly I wrote a post talking about the shows Jenn and I were looking to try out in early 2014. We only watched 3 of the 8 shows I listed (Orange is the New Black, True Detective, and Silicon Valley). I still do want to watch Outlander (which I read the book), The Walking Dead (which I loved the video game), and Black Sails (which is about Pirates).
5 Tech Items I Want in 2015
I absolutely love technology. It excites me. I'm fascinated by it. I want more of it. A lot more of it. Unfortunately being an early adopter is expensive. And often times the newest latest best isn't all its cracked up to be. However here are 5 products that no matter where I'm living, or what I'm doing, are five products I could see in our lives in 2015.
TV Review: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Isn't Netflix the best? I sure think so. I wonder five years from now when I go back and read this post if Netflix will still be a big player in TV? That's probably a post for a different day. Whether its House of Cards or Orange is the New Black, Jenn and I consume a lot of Netflix. After watching the trailer for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (which is produced by Tina Fey) I knew Jenn and I were going to watch it.
Movie Review: The Hundred-Foot Journey
I know I'm late to this party. The Hundred-Foot Journey was released back over the summer (2014) and was critically well received. However after watching Chef (which too was well received) I didn't think I was ready to watch another food movie. I thought Chef was incredibly overrated. In fact I'm convinced that anyone that liked that movie must have just been super hungry while watching it.
