Ranking the TV We Watched in 2024

This might have been the toughest year to rank TV shows. TV has become background noise as we learn to be parents then prime viewing. Unlike in years past with epic 1-hour dramas we tended to watch shorter shows that allowed us to go to sleep earlier. That’s not to say there weren’t great TV shows its just a very different list in 2024.

Where We Watched in 2024

We continued a downward trend of watching TV in 2024, with the Elle coming to the world in May and us traveling quite a bit for work during the first half of the year. What I find most striking about this year in TV is that we didn’t finish some of our favorite shows. We found it hard to carve out an hour to finish two shows I know would have been high in our ranks (House of the Dragon and Shogun), and I still have a few episodes left of The Penguin.
