What an absolute treasure of a year for television. I struggled so badly to put this list together. And after talking with Jenn about her list we both really struggled with the top ten area of the list. What I found so interesting about this year's list is how many of our favorites dropped to the bottom of our list. I'm looking at you Veep, Silicon Valley, Orange is the New Black and Red Oaks. Luckily there were so many amazing new shows this year like The Handmaid's Tale, Big Little Lies, and Sneaky Pete.

Another fascinating tidbit about our list is that we watched the exact same number of shows this year as we did in 2016. That's a lot of television, and luckily, for the most part, it was all great TV. `
