Ranking the TV We Watched in 2020
Each year Jenn and I rank the TV that we watch. You’d think that our list in 2020 would be a mile long given that we’ve been home for 9 of the 12 months but in fact we actually watched less TV this year than almost any other year. That’s not to say that we haven’t watched some great television this year. So without further ado here are our rankings of shows for 2020.
Recap of My Goals for 2020 - How Did I Do?
What a challenging year to really keep any goal. By the end of March, the world had completely come to a stop and it really hasn’t come back alive since. I had set a few goals that were no longer going to be possible like 13 tasting menus or 300 runs. But even with the year working against me I was able to at least accomplish a lot of what I set out to do.
A Look Back - December 2020
It sort of blows my mind that I’m sitting here in Newport Beach looking out on a 65-degree day as December winds to a close and starting to think about writing my year-in-review. It has been a year not like any other and a December not like any other as well. But even with all of its challenges December and the holidays still happened and although they were different this year we weren’t going to not celebrate them. And so with this let’s get into the last monthly recap of 2020.
A Look Back - November 2020
What a triumphant month. After a scary start, we now have a new President-elect, and a very fun month is now in the books. There’s a lot to cover this month so let’s jump right in!
A Look Back - October 2020
As we now reach the eighth month of this pandemic, it’s starting to feel normal, and not in a good way. It feels like it’s been so long since we’ve been able to go anywhere, and do anything. October was a good month, it was a busy month, but a good month. And yet there’s still a huge part of me that longs for any sort of normalcy, but sadly that doesn’t seem to be coming anytime soon.
A Look Back - September 2020
I truly miss being able to write about exciting trips, restaurants, and plays that Jenn and I have experienced. Instead now seven months into the coronavirus we’re doing about the same thing we did in March, working and stay home about 95% of the time. So unlike last September, this month’s post might be the shortest I’ve ever written.
