A Look Back - November 2020
What a triumphant month. After a scary start, we now have a new President-elect, and a very fun month is now in the books. There’s a lot to cover this month so let’s jump right in!
A Look Back - October 2020
As we now reach the eighth month of this pandemic, it’s starting to feel normal, and not in a good way. It feels like it’s been so long since we’ve been able to go anywhere, and do anything. October was a good month, it was a busy month, but a good month. And yet there’s still a huge part of me that longs for any sort of normalcy, but sadly that doesn’t seem to be coming anytime soon.
A Look Back - September 2020
I truly miss being able to write about exciting trips, restaurants, and plays that Jenn and I have experienced. Instead now seven months into the coronavirus we’re doing about the same thing we did in March, working and stay home about 95% of the time. So unlike last September, this month’s post might be the shortest I’ve ever written.
A Look Back - August 2020
It’s almost impossible for me to aptly articulate what its felt like to see August come and go. This year has been such a peculiar nuisance that I can’t fully capture exactly what it has been like to live through. I still harken back to January and February of this year a lot. Jenn and I had mapped out a lot of what we had hoped to do this year and by the time March rolled around it was gone. But alas another month is gone and we’re both a year older now, and hopefully a bit wiser as well.
A Look Back - July 2020
It’s hard to put into words how difficult it is to write these monthly posts in 2020. They’re just so different then what I’m used to writing. In the past its been about events that happened, trips we’ve taken, or plans that were made. In 2020 my posts have been mostly about the pandemic and how we’ve found new ways to try and thrive. Not nearly as fun to live or write about but alas we shall persist.
A Look Back - June 2020
Months like June of 2020 are tough because more than anything right now I could use perspective. I’ll do my best to recap a very busy, very stressful, and at the end of it a very rewarding month. One that had us pack up our beautiful New York apartment and move back across the country to Newport Beach for a brief stay. It was a month that’s for sure.
