A Look Back - May 2020
There are certain months that I know years from now we will look back on this time in our life as a turning point. May of 2020 like many months in 2020 has been one of stress, joyous moments, and big decisions. It’s a month that Jenn and I probably more than ever in our lives have had to rely on each other, trust each other, and make decisions in a world that has never felt less clear. That’s a lot of words to basically say May was a big month.
A Look Back - April 2020
It’s such a surreal, unexpected, and bewildering time to be alive. I’m not even really sure how to go about writing a recap for the month of April because although I lived it, I remember it all, it feels like a blur only a few days after its gone. But I’ll do my best to recap our first full month in full shelter in place in New York City.
A Look Back - March 2020
If ever there was a time to write down what life is like it would be that of March 2020, the month that the entire world came to a crashing halt. What’s so amazing about March is when I started to look back on photos of the month there is an abrupt switch from normalcy to isolation.
A Look Back - February 2020
If January was a slow month, February was running at a full-on sprint. From crazy flight delays, to multi-course pasta tasting menus, to channeling my inner Italian Stallion, February was a month for the record books.
A Look Back - January 2020
As the old decade came to a close a new one sprang up in its place. We’re now 30+ days into 2020 and its been one odd and stressful start to the new year. But as the month has finally come to a close it does seem like things are getting back on track.
2019 A Year in Review - Welcome Frasier
It’s really hard to imagine that as I’m writing this post we’ve now lived in New York City for 18-months. On one hand, it feels like we’ve lived here for years on the other I can still feel getting off the plane and walking to my first day of work at Citi. If 2018 was the year of the move, this has been the year of settling in. We’ve both had great years in our careers, we’ve laid a foundation here in New York, and we now have a companion to experience it all with, Frasier our 10-month old Labradoodle.
