TV Review: True Detective Season 1
Earlier this year I made a list of a handful of shows that both Jenn and I wanted to try out this year. On the top of both of our list was HBO's True Detective. The shows first season stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson and has been a critical success. So what did we think?
My iPhone 6 Plus in Silver/White (64GB)
A week ago Apple announced among other things the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. It was the first time since the original iPhone I actually had a decision to make. It wasn't an Android v iPhone decision but instead a size decision. Did I want to go with the big iPhone 6 Plus. Well if you know me at all you can probably guess the answer to that. I went big and got the iPhone 6 Plus in silver/white with 64GB of storage.
Movie Review: This is Where I Leave You
I've already missed a couple of movies from my most anticipated movies for the rest of 2014 but that streak ended this past weekend when we saw This is Where I Leave You. After a fantastic weekend celebrating our five year wedding anniversary we decided to have a relaxing Sunday and enjoy a movie.
Five Absolutely Amazing Years
I'm the luckiest man in the world. Five years ago today I married my high school sweetheart, my best friend, and the love of my life. On September 19, 2009 Jenn and I walked down the aisle at the stunning St. Regis in Monarch Beach. It was a picture perfect day and was the start of what has been an absolutely incredible five years.
TV Review: Homeland Season 3 Review
It was only a couple of weeks ago that I posted my review of Season 2 of Homeland. For me it was such an up and down season and never was able to recapture the crazy high bar set by the first season. Going into Season 3 I had no idea what to expect as it seemed like the buzz for the show had fallen off a ledge.
Movie Review: Blue Jasmine
Last week Jenn and I saw Woody Allen's latest movie Magic in the Moonlight. It was a good movie but didn't measure up to some our favorites (Match Point, Scoop, Midnight in Paris, and To Rome with Love) but was still an enjoyable watch. I then realized we never saw the critically acclaimed Blue Jasmine and immediately rectified that by picking it up on Redbox.
