Five Absolutely Amazing Years

I'm the luckiest man in the world. Five years ago today I married my high school sweetheart, my best friend, and the love of my life. On September 19, 2009 Jenn and I walked down the aisle at the stunning St. Regis in Monarch Beach. It was a picture perfect day and was the start of what has been an absolutely incredible five years.

It's hard to try and capture all of the amazing memories we've had in our marriage over the first five years. My favorite memories aren't necessarily the big trips we take, but the quieter moments. The Friday nights where we open a bottle of wine, eat take-out, and watch a movie. Or the nights where Jenn and I are in the kitchen together cooking (a phenomenon that has only started taking place in the last year). The quiet moments where the stress of life quickly subside and all we do is laugh uncontrollably.

I love my life and the biggest component of that is Jenn. She makes every day better. When I get to work the first thing I think about is how excited I am to get home and to see Jenn. Life is just better with Jenn. I'm truly the luckiest man in the world, I cannot believe how blessed our relationship has been over our first five years of marriage and I cannot wait for the next five, ten, and fifty years.
