Discrimination Is Alive and Well in 2014
In the past few weeks both Jon Stewart and John Oliver have done incredible segments on their shows about how discrimination is alive and well in 2014. Jon Stewart used his first episode back on The Daily Show after a two week break to talk about the Ferguson shooting and the fact that racism is still alive and well in the US today. And John Oliver used his show, Last Week Tonight to bring up the embarrassing fact that in 2014 we are still paying women less then men.
Review: Harry's Winston Set
Last week I purchased the Winston Set from Harry's.com. Harry's is a shaving website where all they sell are razors and shaving cream. I've heard about Harry's from a couple of the podcasts I listen too, and it just so happened that I was listening to one of the latest episodes of the /filmcast when I realized that I needed some new razors. I went on their website and was super impressed with their offerings and went big with their top of the line Winston Set.
Movie Review: Guardians of the Galaxy
Earlier this year you might remember that I put out my most anticipated movies of the summer. Outside of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the rest of the list was either middle of the road or just plain bad. One movie I flip flopped on was Guardians of the Galaxy. Jenn and I grew to become a huge fan of Chris Pratt for his role on Parks and Recreation, but the movie just looked dumb.

This year might be the weakest holiday lineup I've seen in years with many getting delayed to early 2015. But there are still a number of games I'm excited for between now and the end of the year, and here they are.
My Most Anticipated Movies For the Rest of 2014
Who says all the good movies come out during the summer? You may remember that I posted earlier this year my most anticipated movies of the Spring/Summer and most of those movies were a flop. So here's a list of movies that I'm looking forward to for the rest of 2014.
TV Review: Homeland Season 2
It's been almost two years since Jenn and I watched the first season of Homeland. It was one of the best first seasons of a show I've ever watched. In a lot of ways it hit all the right beats. It had a level of suspense, character development, and twists that isn't something you'd expect in the first season of a TV show. Homeland had a lot to live up to on Season 2.
