Recap of My Goals for 2018 - How Did I Do?

I love setting out goals. Some years I nail it (looking at you 2017) and others like this year I don’t. I was able to hit two of my five goals this year, with one more coming in close, and two of them I completely missed.

GOAL #1: READ 32 BOOKS - ACHIEVED
Stretch Goal - Read 2 books that are longer than 750 pages - FAILED (Only 1, Words of Radiance)

GOAL #2: USE HABITIFY APP WITH 250 DAYS OF PERFECT PERFORMANCE - FAILED
Stretch Goal - 300 Days of Perfect Performance - FAILED

I hit 122 perfect days in 2018. With the move to New York I lost my rhythm and was not able to get back on track. I hope/plan to rectify this in 2019.

GOAL #3: Run 300 Times in 2018 - FAILED
Stretch Goal - Run 1,000 miles in 2018 - FAILED

I’m really proud of my running for 2018. It was no where near as good as 2017, but still a very impressive year.

I ended up with 281 runs with a total of 707 miles.

GOAL #4: KEEP WEIGHT < 140 LBS AT YEAR-END 2018 - ACHIEVED
Stretch Goal - Never go over 140 lbs for the entire year - ACHIEVED

I’m very proud for a couple of years I’ve kept my weight down by eating better, walking more, and running almost every morning. I feel great and am proud that I was able to keep this going.

GOAL #5: WRITE 12 CHEF JOEL & JENN POSTS IN 2018 - FAILED

I sadly completely missed this goal. I started the year strongly but never got back to it. We just have way to good of food options in NYC to spend time making elaborate dishes.

GOAL #6: Complete Remaining Travel Photo Books - FAILED
Stretch Goal - Make book for 2018 trip - FAILED

I have not made one photo book this year. I wish I would have gotten to this but I just missed it.
