Can't Get Better Then This Date Night
Since coming back from China/Bali we have been super busy. The month of October is a literal blur. Rolling into November both Jenn and I decided we needed to get back to our Friday Night date night routine. So last weekend we bought a Travelzoo deal to The Ritz (walking distance from our apartment) and got tickets to Michael Canaugh at the Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa who was playing the best of Elton John.
Dinner Review: The Winery Restaurant (Tustin)
I cannot believe it was already three years ago that Jenn and I got married. Time sure does fly by. It has been the most amazing ride. I knew I was going to love being married but never realized it would be this great.
To celebrate our three years of marriage (nearly nine together) we bought a TravelZoo to The Winery Restaurant in Tustin around five miles from where we live. The deal was for a five course tasting menu that was too highlight their menu. We had always wanted to try The Winery but never had the right occasion to go there and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Dinner Review: Posch (Irvine)
Not every restaurant coupon is created equally that is for sure. A few weeks ago Jenn and I went to use our TravelZoo to a restaurant called Posch in Irvine near John Wayne Airport. From the pictures and the description we knew it was half night club half restaurant but it looked neat enough to warrant the $49 price tag for a three course meal with wine.
Dinner Review: Simply Fondue (Mission Viejo)
This past weekend we used our $49 Travelzoo for a four course dinner at Simply Fondue in Mission Viejo. The Travelzoo got us two salads, a cheese fondue, a choice of four meat choices, and a chocolate fondue. It also came with two glasses of wine.
A Wonderful Dinner at Amelia's Restaurant on Balboa Island
Another weekend and another fantastic Travelzoo. Around six months ago Jenn and I went to Amelia's Restaurant on Balboa Island with a $40 Groupon and loved it. When we saw the Travelzoo had a $59 4-Course meal with Wine I purchased it right after it posted. So this past weekend (Saturday 6/2) we had the opportunity to drive the mile to the restaurant and enjoy an incredibly tasty meal.
A Dinner to Remember - Hyatt Huntington Beach
I've mentioned before how big a fan I am of things like Groupon, Living Social, Travelzoo, etc. Well I buy a ton of these things and Jenn and I use them for our date nights. Well this past weekend we had one of the best ones yet. For $99 we had a 5 Course Dinner with Wine Pairings for two at The Californian at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. We could not have asked for better weather, food, or drinks.
