Movie Review: About Time

I've been searching for that movie. The one that makes me think. The one that warms my heart and makes me want to go back and immediately re-watch it. Well I think I found it in About Time. I've professed my love for books/movies with time travel in them, so going in About Time already had a leg up. However what I didn't expect was one of the best movies I've seen all year.

The movie had a whimsy about it that's hard to describe. It takes thirty seconds to explain the rules of time travel and the rest of the movie becomes less about the main characters ability to do so but instead about life. The struggles, the triumphs, and the blessings found in every moment of it.

About Time is a movie that swept me away for two hours of pure bliss. Its characters felt real, the setting felt natural, and even the time travel felt more realistic then it ought to. I can't wait to see it again.
