We’ve traveled enough to understand that the first day in any city has its own unique set of challenges and today in Seoul was no different. We opted not to go with a tour today and instead wanted to experience Seoul on our own.

After a mediocre night of sushi, we woke up hungry for a new day this morning. We left our room a little after 8 AM and went to grab some drinks at Starbucks and a cinnamon roll to split. We took it to-go and had them in our room at the Shangri-La where we finished packing and got ready to take our car to Taoyuan International Airport.

After a very busy day of touring yesterday, we were back out again early today. We left our hotel room a little after 7 AM and grabbed drinks and pastries at Starbucks before we met our tour guide Vincent downstairs at 8 AM. Today we had an 8-hour Northern Taiwan tour that would take us about an hour north of Taipei. We got in Vincent’s Mitsubishi and were off.

After a great dinner last night and an early night in we both woke up relatively refreshed and ready to go this morning. After a quick run, we went down to breakfast which was included with our American Express booking.

It's been quite the journey already but the trip is just getting started. This morning we woke up to a rainy Tokyo skyline and finished packing our bags. We checked out of the Park Hyatt and got a taxi to take us to Tokyo National Airport for our 10:50 AM flight on Eva Air to Taipei.

After a week in Tokyo for Jenn and about five days for me, today marks our last full day in this wonderful city. We woke up today with a very limited game plan
