It's been quite the journey already but the trip is just getting started. This morning we woke up to a rainy Tokyo skyline and finished packing our bags. We checked out of the Park Hyatt and got a taxi to take us to Tokyo National Airport for our 10:50 AM flight on Eva Air to Taipei.

After a week in Tokyo for Jenn and about five days for me, today marks our last full day in this wonderful city. We woke up today with a very limited game plan

Today was originally planned to be a day of museums and touring but when the weather forecasted a rainy Sunday we decided to move up our trip to Disneyland Tokyo by a day.

Today is the first real day of the trip although you wouldn’t know by how we started. After a decent night's sleep for both of us, we were up early this morning both on our laptops working. Jenn went to grab us Starbucks a little after 8 AM and by 10 AM we were finally packed up and ready to go.

It’s been about six weeks since we returned from our South America journey to Brazil and Argentina and like any good trip it made us eager to travel again. We were fortunate enough to have another opportunity with Jenn having a work trip to Tokyo. When we found out about it we knew wanted to take advantage and build a trip around it and that’s exactly what we did. Jenn left for Tokyo on Saturday, June 3rd on Air Canada leaving from Laguardia, making a quick stop in Toronto before taking the nearly 14-hour flight to Tokyo. She arrived in on Sunday afternoon where she had room service and got ready for her week of meetings.

After such a long day yesterday going to the Iguazu Falls, we made sure to turn the alarms off and sleep in. We didn’t sleep that late but lay in bed, surfed our phones, and let the morning come to us. Today marks the last day in Buenos Aires and the last day of our vacation. What better way to spend it than start planning the next trip, I’m looking at you Asia in June.
