Royal Voyage 2015 Day 14, 15 & 16: Massage Over Bingo
I’m trying to figure out how to cleverly continue to talk about our days at-sea. In all honesty not much as changed on our second half of the six days at-sea. Like the days before it we woke up, Jenn busied herself with trying to get the Royal Caribbean internet to first connect and then at some point load a website. I promise you I haven’t had this bad of internet since we first got AOL in the early 90’s. It’s dreadful.
Royal Voyage Day 11, 12 & 13: On the Daily
Today began our first of six straight days of life at-sea. Depending on what day you asked us before we embarked on this journey, often times Jenn and I would comment that these six days were what we were most excited for on this trip. After a crazy year, lounging around, and doing next to nothing was exactly what the doctor ordered.
Royal Voyage 2015 Day 10: Happy Hour
There are very few days that you know for a fact you will remember for a lifetime. Today was one of those days. We finally were going to get off the boat and experience Jordan. We woke up slightly earlier then normal and had room service brought in at 7 AM. I got a banana and Jenn had a pastry and orange juice. I did go down to the coffee shop and got a cappuccino. I’m only three drinks away from getting a free one!
Royal Voyage 2015 Day 9: We Got Certificates
Although our cruise initially only had a couple stops (minus one after Israel got cancelled yesterday), one of the other things we were really looking forward to was going through the Suez Canal. The good news is the day did not disappoint. I fortunately woke up bright and early around 6:30 AM and immediately went out to the balcony to see the very beginning of the Suez Canal.
Royal Voyage 2015 Day 7 & 8: This Doesn’t Look Like Israel
Following our full day in Crete we were absolutely prepared to relax on our ship for another day at sea in order to get prepared for our big Israel stop. Today was also the day we found the perfect rhythm at-sea days. We laid in bed until 10AM where I went to go work out and Jenn stayed relaxing in our room thinking about future trip plans.
Royal Voyage 2015 Day 6: #NotMyCrete
After two unbelievably relaxing days at sea (not sure I’ve ever slept that much in my life) we were primed and ready for our first stop on this cruise, Crete. We’ve been to almost every major island in Greece (Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes, and of course Athens) but the one that we hadn’t been to yet was Crete. We woke up at 6:30AM, got ready and grabbed a quick bite to eat at the Café in the middle of the ship.
