I'm still in utter shock with how amazing yesterday was. We both knew that Angkor Wat was going to be a memorable experience but it far exceeded our expectations. What also far exceeded our expectations was how exhausted we were going to be from it. Not only did we wake up at 4 AM yesterday but we also spent nearly 12-hours in 90-degree heat with nearly 100% humidity. We woke up this morning beat up and not ready to do much of anything.

Today was one of the busiest and best days of the trip hands down. Today was the day we were going to see one of the most beloved historical sites in all of the world, Angkor Wat. Jenn has been talking about wanting to go to Angkor Wat at least since our Bejing/Bali trip in 2013. We had a couple of options with Angkor Wat. We could do it on our own and hire Tuk Tuks to take us around or we could hire a tour guide. Most of the time we'd do it on our own, but because we were in Cambodia and didn't know what to expect we went with the #1 rated tour guide on TripAdvisor, Happy Angkor Tour for a full 1-day sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. 

Unlike past travel days, today we tried to use as a part travel day, part rest day. Because our flight wasn't until 3 PM this afternoon we didn't have anything to do all morning, and it was glorious. We laid in bed like it was a Saturday morning, surfed the internet on our phones and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise in Hanoi.
