Jenn’s first full day joining Jake and me in Tokyo. While Jenn got acclimated, Jake and I saw a beautiful temple; he bought an antique watch, and we switched hotels to the Mandarin Oriental. We finished with a one-Michelin-star sushi restaurant.

We made our way via train to the beachside town of Kamakura, about an hour's train ride from Tokyo and ended it back in Tokyo with a great multi-course dinner and a massive thunderstorm.

Our first full day in Tokyo was spent enjoying some of its beautiful landmarks, eating great food, and walking around the amazing city.

After an eleven-hour flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo, we had an afternoon and evening in Tokyo to try and stay awake, enjoy some ramen, and have a nightcap.
