Joel & Jenn's Extraordinary Adventure 2018 Has Been Booked
It's been a long time coming but Jenn and I have finally booked our big trip for 2018. Although at the time of this post we're a little over fifty days to our trip to Geneva, Paris, and Brussels we've booked another trip this year. We've gone back and forth quite a bit on where we wanted to go this year. All told we probably had three or four full itineraries build before we landed on this one.
The "Extraordinary Adventure" will begin in late August when we fly from Los Angeles to Cairo, Egypt. It's been over a decade since Jenn and I spent a day at the pyramids of Giza and we've wanted to go back and explore more of Egypt ever since. From Cairo, we will be flying to Jerusalem to hopefully (knock on wood) visit the city that has eluded us on two previous trips.
From Israel, we will be going to Milan one of the few major cities in Italy that we haven't been to. We've spent so much time in Rome and Venice that we're super excited to explore Milan and the surrounding areas. From Milan, we will be boarding another flight to Marrakech, Morocco a city that Jenn has been wanting to go to for years.
After some fun in the desert of Marrakech, we will be flying off to Madrid. We had such a great time in Barcelona that we've been craving tapas for a few years now. From Milan we have one more stop, we're ending our amazing adventure in Lisbon, Portugal. From there we make the long journey home. I cannot even begin to describe how excited we both are to have a big trip to look forward to. These adventures are always some of the highlights of our year and I have a feeling this trip will be nothing short of extraordinary.
