What a beautiful month of celebrating life, celebrating being together, and looking to the future. Whether it was our last big trip before our daughter arrived or it was celebrating her with our family in California it was a beautiful month and one that I will always look back on fondly.

2024 is off to a beautiful start. We started the year completely focused on Elle and ended it celebrating our last trip as a family of 3. I am so excited for the year to come.

When we look back on 2023 it will be the year where everything changed. It was a beautiful year, filled with memories I could have never dreamed of, adventures that would fill our hearts, and the start of something truly miraculous. 

The year started with a sprint. I ended 2022 quite sick (COVID take two or three?), which led us to cancel our holiday plans in California and coming home for Christmas to Frasier in New York. Since I was unable to see Dad for Christmas, he decided to visit me in mid-January, which was such a wonderful time for us to connect, have good eats, walk along the park with Frasier, and enjoy being in NYC as father and daughter.

It’s no surprise that one of my “favorite” posts to do every year is this one. I look back on these as often as my year-in-review because of how well this captures some of the beautiful moments throughout the year. 2023 was no different with incredible TV, movies, live performances, and memories that will last a lifetime.

As we’ve done in previous years we’re embarking on the challenge to rank all of the TV shows we watched in the previous year. This year we watched a few more shows and a lot of them were the first seasons which means we have a fresh list to rank. This also might be the list where Jenn and I have the greatest disparity between where we rank shows. It’s going to be a fun list!
