The shortest month of the year has come and gone. After a whirlwind of travel and New York visitors, February was much more of a subdued normal month. But don’t think that stopped Jenn and I from enjoying it. Really though if I could capture February in one word it would be food.

And just like that we’re already through the first month of 2019. After spending almost the entire month of January putting together my 2018 year-in-review, it’s nice to be back to my monthly posts. And yet I’m a little daunted by the task at hand. January was a huge month with a lot of adventures, so let’s jump in and go through what’s going to be a tough month to top for the rest of 2019.

I’ve been doing goals or new years resolutions for most of my adult life. I started publishing my big goals for the year back in 2015. I’m not always perfect but its a good way for me to be accountable for what I want to accomplish for the year ahead. I’ve had my list of 2019 goals written down since October of 2018, but was late in getting them on the blog. I’ve made my goals far more straightforward this year. Five goals, no sub-goals and I plan to hit all five. Let’s go through them.

Each year when I sit down to write my year-in-review it is as much about looking back as it about looking ahead. Of any year I’ve written one of these years-in-review, 2018 is a year that I want to make sure I capture, because it was a time of incredible travel, major milestones, small simple moments and tremendous life altering change. And so without further ado I give you our 2018 year in review. 

It’s that time of year again! Jenn and I have spent times independently looking back at the year that was and talking about some of our favorite things from 2018. From TV shows, to vacation stops, to memories, we’ve written down our favorites from 2018, and here they are!

As the year winds down and I’m prepping all of my year-end posts I did carve out some time to recap the month that was December 2018. It was a busy month with a lot of travel and activities, but also a month that ended with the relaxation that both Jenn and I have needed for a long time.
