Today is election day. Can you believe it has finally arrived? Any Ralph Nader fans? Just kidding. So I just wanted to make sure I got this out here, go vote! It is really important if not for the presidential race for the propositions and your local voting. Out here in California people are really up in arms about Prop 8 which is Gay Marriage. As many of you have probably guessed I am voting Yes on Prop 8 which would stop gay marriage here in California. I do realize the uproar that is going to follow the result of this proposition, so it should be an interesting time.

I used to be a huge Boy Meets World fan. Heck I think I liked the good old TGIF ABC nights a little to much. I even continued watching reruns of Boy Meets World years after it had ended. So one of my new favorite characters Chuck, on the show of the same name on NBC had a guest star Ben Savage who used to play Cory on Boy Meets World. This was like the ultimate Chuck episode for me. It was a great episode regardless of the guest star, but it was great to see good old Ben Savage back on the TV set. I don't even know if they still do play Boy Meets World reruns. Now that was a great show.

So Jenn and I went to see Body of Lies this evening, and I liked it, it wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed it. The previews were extremely solid though. Which gave me an idea, five movies I want to see in the 2 and 1/2 months left in the year. Can you believe 2008 is almost passing us by? Without further ado here are the 5 movies I can't wait to see, and can you believe Daniel Craig is in 2 of them.

Very seldom on YouTube do I find something that I actually find worthwhile to watch. This video is different, it is very much worth watching. Jenn came home this evening and was like Joel, for once I have a video to make you watch. Yes I make her watch a lot of videos, includes video game videos. So yes she has every right to throw 100 horrible YouTube videos at me. But she didn't, from her Management class she brought home a video I must have missed during its big arrival. The video is called Did You Know 2.0 and it is worth watching, that is for sure.

Last year many of you may remember that I created a slew of TV Blogs which I ended up selling during the writers strike. Selling them was a tough but necessary decision at the time and since then my TV watching has actually become enjoyable again. When you are doing something for work like reviewing TV shows, it does take some of the fun away from it, so now that I am not working on any TV Blogs it kind of feels like everything is back to normal.

Well by the time I got this post done it will actually be less then a year from the big day for Jenn and I. Yes on September 27, 2009 Jenn and I are getting married. This isn't necessarily news for anyone who kept up with the Europe 2008 trip, but I don't think I have announced our date, so there it is. To commemorate that, Jenn and I went down to where we are getting married down in Dana Point, CA to the spot we are getting married at yesterday. It was a beautiful, somewhat overcast day, and it was just great to get out and get down there. We also bought our engagement photos which like everything about this wedding were a bit on the pricey side of things, but 100% worth it.
