September is always one of our favorite months living in the city. As Elle turns 4 months old she was able to spend more time with her Uncle Jake and her parents. What a great month!

August kicked off with our birthdays. We spent the day at the Whitney Museum and had lunch at Le Coucou. The next weekend, we saw Once Upon a Mattress on Broadway. We took Elle to the Botanical Gardens and I had my first work trip to Paris since she was born. We ended the month with a quick trip to Montreal.

Looking back on July it was quite the month. Jenn had two battle c-diff twice, spending a lot of her month back at the doctors, while Elle continued to grow, her personality just starting to poke through.

Elle’s first month has just come to a close and what a crazy month it has been. We are so lucky to be her parents, and I’m grateful to be able to write this while everyone is home, healthy, and happy.

I have the honor and privilege to introduce you to Elle Maria Szerlip, our beautiful daughter who was born on May 31st at 5:09 PM.

We’re coming down the home stretch. As I write this recap Jenn is now 36 weeks and we know her arrival is imminent. April was a month fully dedicated to prepping for her arrival, one that we cannot wait for.
