March although a long month felt like it was over in a blink of an eye. Both Jenn and I started the month sick but by the end, we were both on our way to Paris and ready for our first “vacation” since the Maldives in September.

February was a crazy busy month that feels like it’s just starting to open the floodgates to what’s going to be a busy year with no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

After a great end to 2021, we started off 2022 with a bang. From two incredible operas, to an eight-course chef’s table tasting menu, to two big snowstorms this month had it all.

Before our flight home from California this year I sent Jenn two tasks to complete. Ranking all of the TV shows we watched in 2021 and this prompt, our favorite things from 2021. I go back and look at these posts as much if not more than the year-in-reviews because it’s so interesting to see how our tastes change and evolve over time. And so without further ado here are our favorite things from 2021.

One of my favorite posts to look back on are the TV shows we watch each year. You can tell a lot about how our year went, how our tastes change over time, and even the difference in where we watch the TV we watch. I know a lot of people want to watch less TV, but I think Jenn and I have focused more on trying to watch better TV. We really only get 1-2 hours a day right now and so what we watch has to be good and I can’t think of a better year of TV then 2021.

This is probably the longest monthly update I’ve given in 2021. We had two new jobs, three Michelin dinners, booster shots, Christmas decorating, and a trip to California. All before the ball dropped in Times Square.
