Turning 40 was just one of the many milestones in August. I started a new job, Jenn and I took our first trip without Elle, Elle started taking ballet lessons, and she transitioned to a toddler bed.

Two massive international trips, a new job, and my last few days in my 30’s. July was quite the month.

After a few weeks at home and the entire family coming to visit us at our new house we left for Europe for a 3-week adventure.

We started out the month moving to Irvine from Newport Coast and ended the month celebrating Elle’s 2nd Birthday in Indian Wells.

It feels like much longer than a month ago, but when March ended, we had just come back from a week in Cancun, a little tanner, and ready for a very busy April full of work, work travel, and a move.

It was a very busy month, from family visits, to trips to both San Diego and Cancun. It felt like the start of a much busier 2026, than both January and February.
