Jenn Grabs a Win at the 2016 Golden Globes

Another year and another evening of Jenn and I watching The Golden Globes. The Golden Globes are always an interesting award show. I'm not sure anyone takes them seriously and that might be why we enjoy them so much. That and they welcomed back Ricky Gervais for the forth time who absolutely crushed it in both his opening monologue and his brief snippets throughout the show. I still cannot believe how much NBC had to bleep out of the show this year. Maybe it's time they drop the filter?

Regardless after making some fresh homemade pasta we sat down for the three hour award show. As always we also filled out a ballot and this year we tied with seven correct choices each. What's funny about the tie is that for the first time the ballot I printed out had a "tie breaker" and it was guessing how many seconds over the show would be. Jenn won that one and therefore has won two award shows in a row (Emmy's and now the Golden Globes). Can she make it a triple crown with The Academy Awards in a little over a month? We shall see. It was a great night that we both really enjoyed.
