Recapping An Incredible E3 2014

After a great Sunday in Los Angeles I woke up bright and early on Monday (June 10th) to head down to Los Angeles to attend the four big press conferences (Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Sony). I got out of the house at around 6AM and headed to Starbucks. When I got my Grande Carmel Macchiato I just felt this wave of exhaustion and dread of the long drive ahead. I made a last minute decision (not something I normally do) and ended up making a u-turn and heading back home to experience E3 from home for the first time in three years.

It turned out to be the absolute right decision for me this year. I was able to spend the day with Jenn who wasn't feeling well, watch all the press conferences, lay out by the pool, and conduct four podcasts all from the comfort of my living room. So instead of recapping each event which you can see over on Darkstation, I'm going to list out my eight favorite games of E3 2014.

#8: Ori & The Blind Forest (Xbox One & PC)

#7: Valiant Hearts (360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, PC)

#6: The Order: 1886 (PS4)

#5: Assassin's Creed: Unity (PS4, Xbox One)

#4: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS4, Xbox One, PC)

#3: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4)

#2: Far Cry 4 (360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, PC)

#1: The Legend of Zelda (Wii U)
