French Open Trip 2018 Day 10: A Grand Finale

It's always sad when it comes time to write the final post of a trip. Although this is only the first of two big trips this year, the idea of flying home tomorrow seems far too soon. But enough of that we had one final day here in Brussels and we were going to enjoy it. Our enjoyment began after waking up a little after 10 AM and lazily getting out of bed.

French Open Trip 2018 Day 9: A Slow Start

After a beautiful first day in Brussels yesterday we woke up today to rain, and a lot of it. That was OK because we didn't even start getting out of bed until 11 AM. French Open Trip 2018 Day 5: Joel's Perfect Day

If I was to describe to someone my perfect day, today would probably be it. It had Jenn, Paris, tennis, French food, and French wine. But I'm getting ahead of myself lets start at the beginning. Today marked the first day of two in which Jenn and I were going to Roland Garros. We had grand plans originally. We were going to wake up, have an early breakfast, and take the subway down to Roland Garros.
