Another Win for Joel at the 2015 Golden Globes

There are three big award shows in the Szerlip household. There are the Emmy's, Oscars, and The Golden Globes. Granted I think the Emmy's and the Oscar's are great, there is something beautiful about combining TV and Movies into one night. For each of these three award shows Jenn and I print out a ballot, and cast out votes for who we think will win. It's a little friendly competition that keeps things interesting.

I don't know when we started this tradition (its been a number of years) but starting with this years Golden Globes we're going to start keeping track. A couple of months ago as we prepared for our big house purchase we cancelled cable to save money. So this evening we scrambled to find a stream of the show. We unfortunately missed Amy Poehler and Tina Fey's hilarious opening act (and ended up watching it post-show). Luckily we found an Ontario Canada stream of the show and watched the rest of the show while surfing for new lights and mirrors for our new home.

If you're wondering who won the Golden Globes you came to the wrong place. If you're wondering who out of Jenn and I picked the most winners, it was me. The final score was 9 correct picks to 5.
