Breaking Bad Goes Out On Top

One of our favorite shows in the last five years is Breaking Bad. Conceptually I never thought this show stood a chance. A high school science teacher who has cancer and decides to cook meth to make money for his kids. I mean really? How is that going to work?

But the master Vince Gilligan put together a masterpiece. Sadly the show ended this past weekend. Unlike many shows it went out on top with one of the better finales I've seen. It managed to tie up loose ends and give all of the characters satisfying conclusions.

What's even more refreshing about Breaking Bad is that it didn't overstay its welcome. AMC could have probably kept the show going for another couple of years and continued to milk the cash cow, but instead allowed the show to go out on top.

If you haven't watched Breaking Bad yet, your insane and need to do so now. It has some of the best acting I've ever seen and is one of the most engaging stories ever. I for one will miss Breaking Bad and look forward to re-watching it in the future.
