According to TV Guide: ” Multiple sources are telling me that CBS is thisclose to sealing a deal to bring Jericho back for at least eight episodes, possibly at mid-season.
My spies caution that this is in no way official, but it certainly sounds like it could be by day’s end. It’s now just a matter of signing the actors to new deals and, according to one insider, finding a new soundstage to house the show’s sets.
To say this would be a huge victory for crazy TV fans everywhere would be the understatement of the frakkin’ millennium.”
Finally the hard work, determination of the Jericho fans have paid off, lets get Jericho back on!

I will admit to being a fan of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, mainly because they are always such feel good stories. One of the best parts of the show is the overly charismatic Ty Pennington originally from the TLC show Trading Spaces. Most of you know of Ty, and I always thought of him as being a pretty good guy. Well I don’t know if this is old news or not, but the man got a DUI and has been sentenced to 36 months of probation. I have to admit that I am really tired of hearing about all of these rich and famous actors, athletes, and musicians breaking the law. I get it, we all make mistakes, that is understandable, heck we all fall short of being perfect. But it seems like to many of these celebs believe they are above the law, and its a shame that a such a good guy image that Ty has always carried has to be tainted by a DUI charge. Well we can just pray that he can get that worked out.

I could just make one long winded recap of tonights season final and final chapter of Volume 1 of Heroes, but I am sure most of you who are reading this post have watched it or still want to watch it. And if you have missed the Heroes bandwagon go buy the first season DVD in a couple months and get yourself caught up. Anyways tonight’s final episode concluded the storyline behind “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World”. What I find most impressive about this show is that it had the potential to be extremely “cheap”, or for lack of better ways of saying it, bad. It took me a few episodes to get into this show, but when you get into the complexity that Heroes has, it truly is one of the most original shows on television. Tonights finale although at times a little long winded (then again what finale isn’t) has an extremely thrilling and puzzling ending that sets us up perfectly for Volume 2 next year. I just want to thank NBC for giving this show a chance, and housing some of the most engaging shows on TV. Good work Heroes, can’t wait for next season!

The moment we all have been waiting for has finally arrived. After watching the one hour season finale, the unthinkable has happened, Jim and Pam are dating. Now I understand how this may sound to those of you who are not huge Office followers, but ever since the first episode of The Office the friendship has been blossoming between the two co-workers into something that I would consider a privledge to watch. I have never been one to get into my TV shows to an obsessive state, but with The Office it has become just that. After watching the unforgettable kiss on last year’s finale which ended up having Jim leave the Scranton branch only to come back half way through the season, everyone thought for sure the two would unite. Then came Karen, a new character at Jim’s new office who end up hooking up and moving back to Scranton together.
To say the least, everyone has been rooting for the Jim and Pam hookup, and finally with about ten seconds left in the show, Jim asks Pam on a date. It was the second (behind the finale of last year’s Office) best Office moment I have watched. Now only a few months until next season! Guess we will have to buy Season 3 while we wait!

I can’t believe it is here. It feels like just yesterday Jim left the Scranton branch and then miraculously came back five or so episodes later. The season started out with such dismay, but now it has turned itself a complete 180 back into the hearts of all of its fans. We are back to Jim and Pam, the relationship that so many have been waiting for. Will it happen tonight?? Well its on at 8pm Pacific, so don’t miss it!

In some of the worst news I have heard in a long time, CBS announced there fall schedule and it was shocking to see Jericho off the lineup. I understand that the ratings of the show have dropped, but given the proper marketing, they could have brought this series back better then ever. As many of you know I loved the series, wasn’t satisfied by the finale, but the series itself was an engaging experience. I am just shocked that CBS would not give the show more time and more of a chance to flourish. There are so many worse shows on TV, and with there replacement being Kid Nation a show that sounds dull, I just can’t believe they wouldn’t give Jericho a second go at it. But I guess thats business. We will miss you Jericho, thank you for a year of great Wednesday night television.

Although there is talk that Jericho will be canceled, official word won’t come until tomorrow. So until then let’s say goodbye to another show leaving the air waves this year, Gilmore Girls. Call it sappy, call it garbage, call it whatever it is you want to call it, but the show had a following. I never was the biggest Rory fan, or never had I planned every waking moment of my life basking in Stars Hollow. However as sad and low as this may sound to some of you, I really did enjoy much of the show. Some may say it takes a terrible writer to write a script like that of Gilmore Girls, after all its just a lot of words throw together in fragmented sentences making little to no sense what so ever. But think of it this way, to create such a mangled collection of jargon can’t be easy. The show was simple, it never went dark, never lost sight of what it was and what it wanted to be. I enjoy the finale, it put everyone one the right path, it had a happy ending. Some may bask in the ever large crowd of Gilmore “bashers”, I will remain in the middle, a hater no, a fan not so much, but an occasional watcher who enjoyed my time at Luke’s Diner, or at the Friday Night Family Dinners. Have there ever been better TV parents? I think not.

Now it has been a year or so since I was actively watching King of Queens a thirty minute sitcom on CBS, but every time I tune that show on, whether its re-runs or new shows I enjoy my time. Tonight marks the season concluding episode of a show that really put Kevin James on the map and landed him the great role on Hitch. I am a huge fan of his, his stand up act on Comedy Central is hilarious, and so far his work on the big screen has been solid as well. I will miss most of all the relationship between Kevin James character Doug and his father in-law Arthur played by Jerry Stiller. The two have this indistinguishable bond that makes watching the show even more enjoyable. Although the show will still be a prominent syndicated show like Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Friends it is still sad to see Kevin James off the air. Good work King of Queens, good work.

We (Jenn her Dad and Myself) have spent all year since the very first episode watching Jericho on CBS every Wednesday night at 8pm Pacific. In fact we have been big enough fans of the show to have a special to-go dinner ready for the season finale. The theme going into the show was “someone is going to die”, but Gerald McRaney the one viable actor on this show was killed off. The man literally ran the show, ran the town of Jericho, and had some of the best moments of the season, and yet was killed off. I am interested to see how the show manages to get along with there only reputable actor, but I have to ay the final did disappoint. Unlike the rest of the season which was in your face action packed intensity, the finale dragged with moments of the past and present that had very little impact on the climax of the show.
Will I come back for Season 2? You bet your bottom dollar we will. The show couldn’t lose its three biggest fans on one poor outing. Plus who doesn’t want to see what would happen to the US after a major nuclear attack.

Last night’s episode of The Office opened up with one of the most clever openings the show has had, which is saying something. Jim comes in pretending to be Dwight, and at the end of the show you see Dwight come in and pretend to be Jim. Really good stuff, and why this remains my favorite show on TV.
