2015 Reading Challenge: Books 6-10

At the beginning of the year I setup a reading plan for my first five books. It was just an experiment to see how I liked having my books already chosen for me. The first five (Night, Legion, The Universe Versus Alex Woods, Tower Lord, and Firefight) went great. All of which ended up being either good or excellent reads.

Right now I'm a bit behind schedule due to some unforeseen stuff that's come up in our life but I'm still excited to see how this works for the next five books I'm going to read.

Book #6: Legion: Skin Deep by Brandon Sanderson

I enjoyed the first Legion book by Brandon Sanderson and want to know where he takes this idea of a camera that can see back in time. I love the concept so it will be interesting to see how far he goes with it.

Book #7: Off to be The Wizard by Scott Meyer

I picked up this book on a recent Audible sale and only did so for two reasons. First the cover for the book looks great. And secondly the reviews were extremely favorable. I sure I hope I can judge this book by its cover.

Book #8: Mightier Than the Sword by Jeffrey Archer

Book 5 of the Clifton Chronicles. The series started so well. The first two books are some of my favorites of the last couple of years. Book 3 and 4 not so much. We will see what happens with Book 5. I'm not expecting much.

Book #9: The Innovators by Walter Isaacson

I grew up a nerd, and only recently learned to embrace my inner nerd. Although The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution will not be the most exciting thing I read this year I can't wait to hear how Isaacson weaves the narrative together.

Book #10: The Son: A Novel by Jo Nesbo

To round out my next five books, I decided to try and take a bit of a change of pace with a mystery by Jo Nesbo. I've always heard great things about Jo Nesbo so I cannot wait to read The Son.
