I've made it. After thinking it might be a good idea to start deciding ahead of time which books to read I'm now on my last "Reading Challenge" post for 2015. I've done four of these already (Books 1-5, 6-10, 11-15,16-20) and this will be final one plotting out books 21-27 to hopefully make my goal of reading 27 books in 2015. So without further ado here are the remaining books in my pile to read for the rest of the year.

#21: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

I've had this on my list of books to read for 2+ years. As you've probably seen already I've read a lot of Brandon Sanderson over the last couple of years. This book has intimidated me quite a bit. But with our 3-week trip, I figured what better time to jump into a fantasy epic then while sunbathing through the Red Sea.

#22: Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

I've had my eye on Eleanor & Park for over a year now. It's got great reviews and seems like something that I'm totally going to love. Well on our recent trip Jenn read the book and convinced me I needed to move the book up my "to-read list" and that's exactly what I did.

#23: The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling)

Its been two years since I read JK Rowling's first novel under the pen name Robert Galbraith, The Cuckoo's Calling. It wasn't a great novel but it had bones. I heard that her follow-up The Silkworm was much better so I think now is as good of a time as any to jump back in and see if it truly has gotten better.

#24: Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sedaris

After watching David Sedaris on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart I've had this book on my wishlist. I have no idea what its about but it seems weird and quirky and that's exactly what I need right now. It also got a somewhat positive review from Jenn so I'm looking forward to this one.

#25: The Girl in the Spider's Web by David Lagercrantz

I very much enjoyed the Millennium Series by Stieg Larsson. All three of his books in the series were edge of your seat thrillers with interesting sub-plots. Sadly he passed away so David Lagercrantz has stepped into the keep the series going. After the way the third book ended it didn't seem to lend itself for more books so I'm interested to see how the story picks up and how a new author does with a very dark meaty franchise.

#26: Half a King by Joe Abercrombie

Another book I've had on my wish list for a long time now. The concept sounds incredible so I'm really hopeful that it comes through. Not sure if it will be able to but I do think that this book will be the perfect way to end the year.

#27: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling

This wasn't on my personal reading plan because Jenn and I read it together earlier in the year. If you're curious we loved the book and can't wait to read the next one in the series.
