So I am sitting here in the Science Library and the University of California Irvine at 8:30am waiting for my last “first day” of a quarter. At least for undergraduate studies that is. This should be barring any major catastrophe my last quarter here at UCI, as I did great in my last quarter courses and have 3 classes left to take. This quarter is going to be no push over but it is crazy to think about where the last four years of my life went. Whatever the case, my spring break was good, I will be posting throughout the week on that, and I should be back to regular updates from now on. Sorry for not posting last week I just really needed the break, and it feels good to be getting back into everything.
So there you have it, my last quarter at UC Irvine begins today! Wish me luck, I am going to need it.

Yes I haven’t posted in a bit, but that is for one reason, and one reason only. Spring Break. I need a break every once in a while and that’s what I am doing. My viewers here are pretty loyal and I feel as though a week off is good now and again. So today Jenn and I are heading out to Knotts Berry Farm and just enjoy the day. We need to get away from it all, and what better then to go to an amusement park! I will return to normal posting next week! Until then!

I love watching Tiger Woods play. The man is pure brilliance and it showed again today. I was just eating lunch ready to sit down and study for finals when I remembered Tiger was in the lead at Arnold Palmer’s tournament in Orlando. Of course when Tiger is in the lead you know its going to be a great Sunday! Well it proved to be again! Tiger comes in tied on the 18th looking like he is going to force a playoff. He sticks his shot on the fairway, and sticks his approach on the green. He had a 20+ foot putt, longer the he had made all tournament. But its Tiger Woods and you just got the feeling like he was going to sink it. And sure enough he did.

Most of you know by now that I got to UC Irvine. We are not known for being a great sports school. Its kind of a bummer. I really wish we were more competitive, at least we did well in NCAA Baseball last year. Whatever the case, I have been glancing at UCI in the Big West tournament, our only chance of getting into March Madness, and I was shocked to see us upset UCSB yesterday, the #1 team in the Big West.
So I knew we were on ESPN 2 tonight, playing Cal State Fullerton, winner going to the Tournament. Well after missing the first half because of the triple overtime for Nem Mexico and Boise State, UCI was already down 10. From what I hear we are a defensive minded team, but it didn’t show tonight. Fullerton was running up and down the court on us. After a slight run from UCI midway through the second half, it was all down hill from there. It was great to see some UCI representation on ESPN, that was neat, its to bad that UCI couldn’t have made it for the first time in the NCAA Tournament.

So I am not sure even what I mean by the title of this post. Basically instead of writing a post today I am going to throw up what I consider to be an extremely funny video. If you haven’t seen this, this guy keeps his eye on the job at hand. After getting thrown into a full front flip which could have landed a lot worse, the reporter stays the course and finishes his out his segment without hesitation. Its a pretty classic video:

So I very rarely stay up late enough to watch the late night shows. I usually will watch Colbert at 10:30 and then hit the sack, but last night I was up finishing a book called Black Hands of Beijing for a Chinese Revolution class that I am taking. Needless to say I wanted to wind down a bit after 4+ hours of reading so I flipped between Leno and Letterman. I am finding more and more that I like Leno a lot better. Letterman just bothers me. Needless to say Leno had two guests I was more inclined to watch which was Bill Cosby and Novak Djokovic the tennis player who beat Federer at the Australian Open. Djokovic for those who don’t follow tennis is actually one of the lighter hearted guys on the tour and actually does some good impressions. However following Cosby last night left him feeling a bit dry.

Getting on to the point of the post, Bill Cosby was on last night, who I consider to be one of the most entertaining people to watch. The man is just funny. My parents saw him do stand-up a few years back and said he wasn’t necessarily running at full speed like he had in the past, but even last night he did a short routine and it really was quite good. It was one of those interviews where you could see Leno was really was a big fan, and the two had a lot of respect for each other. It just reminded me of how much I enjoyed Cosby’s work and made me want to go back and watch some of his earlier material. It was good stuff last night, just what you need after reading a rather long winded book.
Also if you want to watch my favorite part of Cosby’s stand up is his stand-up on going to the Dentist. I for one HATE the Dentist, so this is especially funny for me. Enjoy

Well I tried my best not to get sick, but that just didn’t happen, and I knew it wasn’t. I had a big Statistics exam on Monday morning at 9am, and I studied real late on Sunday night, and woke up miserable. I went and bombed the exam (no bueno), and got home, called in sick for work, and passed out on my bed and here I am today. I feel better, weak, a bit of a headache, but better. I think my cold was more exhaustion then anything, overworked, deprived of sleep, and stressed out to the max. Finals are in two weeks, my grades are bleh, I am 14 weeks away from Graduation, and its looking 50/50 if I am going to need to take a summer course to actually officially graduate. All I know is that I am back at school today, and I wish I was sleeping. I have some real big posts to post about, but I am just not feeling up to doing these posts justice, so I will put that off until I feel better.
So if I don’t post, its not because I don’t love all my readers (Jenn and Jake), but just because my cold needs to go away in a hurry. Way to much to do in the coming weeks, and very little time to do it.
