As many of you know I have a few new projects going on, which I am still waiting to announce. However one of my older projects, Movie-Stop has taken a temporary or possibly permanent hiatus, still trying to figure it out. However that is besides the point because I had the privledge to see Transformers on the 4th of July. The last time I saw a movie on the 4th of July was Independence Day and let me just say Transformers does not disappoint at all. I will admit I didn’t know a lot about Transformers going in, other then being extremely enthused by the trailers. After seeing this two and a half hour blockbuster action flick I can do nothing but praise this movie. It was by far the most enjoyable movie I have seen in theaters this year and will definitely be making it to my buy list when it comes on DVD. If you haven’t yet seen Transformers, I would highly recommend it. Disappoint
Two Thumbs Up!

It is not very often that I get a day “off”, in fact the only day I really have nothing I “have” to get done is on Sunday and yet I seem to get more work done on Sunday’s then any other day, especially in terms of homework and online production. So today, July 4th at 12:01 am I am sitting here free as a bird, a bald eagle if you will (hint the patriotism?). Well I will keep this post nice and short, by just saying that for all the shortcomings that our country has in terms of corruption, and other interesting policies that you may or may not agree with, we sure live in one amazing country and it is always good to sit back and remember that we do live in the land of the free and for that we are very blessed! Have a very blessed, safe, and enjoyable forth of July!

I have to say that growing up I have always loved watching the Championships at Wimbledon, and it has never disappointed. However each year watching the tournament it is a struggle with the rain which always plays a big role in the tournament. When I was in London last year I went down to Wimbledon to check it out a week after the championships completed and the weather for the most part was without rain. Maybe its just bad luck? I don’t know. What I do know is that from what I have watched this year the tournament has not disappointed. It is just to bad that the tournament couldn’t get those covered courts sooner, that way we could get even more great tennis action.

If you have been checking in with us here at WorldofJoel over the past few days you may have noticed a lot of downtime, some wierd advertisement websites, and some design changes. Well most of this was not planned, and in fact none of it really was what I was expecting out of the weekend. The original plan was to announce my current and future projects, but that will be on hold for a day or two more. First off for those wondering about the downtime. Our old server host (more on that in a minute) Telnap had some serious hard drive failures and were working hard to get it back up. Two days later we were finally back up, however when we were we had some extremely odd advertisement websites up which led me to believe that there was some sort of hacking. Well with some help from my good friend Matt Propst (fellow blogger), we worked hard to try and get to the bottom of the website demise. Anyways to make a long story short we got the site back up earlier this morning and I transfered it to the new host, HostMonster which hosts a lot of my new projects which will be announced soon.
You may also notice a design change, I am not one that likes change, but something about this blogs design that makes me want to continually update and tweak. This current design is one of my favorites and I have worked a bit on customizing it more for the blog. I do need to work on integrating my YPN ads into this design, however they have been doing awful as of late so I am not sure I am in a rush to do that. Anyways sometime this week I hope to be able to officially announce the newest project and lineup for the future of this blog and my web endeavors.
